The PRU GREENPORT Project Team recently participated in meetings within the Cul-Mar Skills Project, another EU project on sustainability, hosted by Mircea cel Batran Naval Academy in Constanta, Romania.

As part of the event, a presentation was delivered to the participants from Mircea cel Batran Naval Academy, University of the Aegean and Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, offering insights into the Greenport Project and its contributions to maritime sustainability.

The visit also included a meeting with Assoc. Prof. Nicoleta Acomi in Constanta Maritime University, one of the VET partners of the GREENPORT Project. It was a great pleasure to see Dr. Acomi again and took the opportunity to congratulate her on being appointed as the Dean of Faculty of Navigation. Wishing her continued success in this esteemed role!

From September 26-28, SuTra 2024 gathered over 150 experts in the scenic Sveti Martin na Muri, Croatia, for an immersive look at sustainable transport and mobility.

Organised by the University North and the University of Rijeka, this year's conference featured 8 sessions, 4 panels, and inspiring keynotes. Topics ranged from rural mobility and tourism to the role of AI in transport and sustainable infrastructure.

A standout was Sanjin Valčić's presentation on the GREENPORT Alliances project, highlighting the future of maritime innovation.
