Arranque do Projeto e Conferência das Partes Interessadas
Como coordenadora do projeto GREENPORT Alliances, a Universidade Piri Reis recebeu os nove parceiros do projeto de sete países nos dias 28 e 29 de fevereiro de 2024. A reunião de arranque, que teve lugar no primeiro dia, abrangeu toda a reunião do consórcio, bem como discutiu o plano de trabalho e o caminho a seguir para a duração do projeto.
A Conferência das Partes Interessadas assinalou o primeiro marco do projeto e testemunhou o envolvimento das principais partes interessadas, tanto da indústria marítima como das instituições de ensino. Durante a conferência, cada parceiro do projeto apresentou as suas funções e responsabilidades, bem como os compromissos que seriam assumidos ao longo dos 36 meses do projeto. Representantes do sector marítimo turco, como a Sanmar Shipyards, a Associação Turca de Construtores Navais (GISBIR), a Yanmar Holding, a Sakura Marine, Kilyos Shipping, Kamer Marine, GDS Engineering, CSS Turkey, NAVTEK, Gübretaş Port, GISAŞ Port e a Associação Turca de Pilotos participaram ativamente na conferência. Foram partilhados conhecimentos sobre estratégias inovadoras para reduzir as emissões de carbono no sector através de apresentações feitas por representantes da Turkon Line e da GISAŞ.
